Wicked : Partie 2, \u00e9galement intitul\u00e9 Wicked For Good, est la suite tant attendue du premier opus sorti en d\u00e9cembre 2024. R\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Jon M. Chu et sorti le 19 novembre au cin\u00e9ma, ce second volet cl\u00f4t le deuxi\u00e8me acte de l\u2019adaptation cin\u00e9matographique de la com\u00e9die musicale de Stephen Schwartz. Avec en t\u00eate d\u2019affiche un casting prestigieux, men\u00e9 par Cynthia Erivo et Ariana Grande, Wicked for Good a envahi les salles de cin\u00e9ma fran\u00e7aises. <\/span><\/p>\n

Wicked : Partie 1<\/a> s\u2019\u00e9tait impos\u00e9 comme un des films phares de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2024. \u00c9mouvant, bouleversant et poignant, le film avait r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 nous faire voyager dans le monde enchanteur de Glinda et Elphaba. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des d\u00e9cors et des costumes remarquables, qui lui ont valu deux Oscars, l\u2019immersion \u00e9tait totale et le spectateur s’attachait facilement aux personnages \u00e0 travers leurs p\u00e9rip\u00e9ties. <\/span><\/p>\n

Elphaba, consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme la M\u00e9chante sorci\u00e8re de l\u2019Ouest, vit en exil, cach\u00e9e dans la for\u00eat o\u00f9 elle continue de se battre pour la libert\u00e9 des animaux tout en cherchant \u00e0 r\u00e9v\u00e9ler au monde la v\u00e9ritable nature du magicien d\u2019Oz. Elphaba incarne l\u2019exemple m\u00eame de la d\u00e9termination in\u00e9branlable. D\u00e9test\u00e9e de tous, elle continue de s\u2019accrocher \u00e0 ses convictions en se battant pour ce qu\u2019elle pense \u00eatre juste. Par ses actions, elle pousse l\u2019intrigue et les enjeux du film toujours plus loin. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la sorci\u00e8re, le spectateur questionne le monde du r\u00e9cit et les enjeux internes.<\/span><\/p>\n

De l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, on observe la remise en question de Glinda, devenue l\u2019incarnation du glamour et de la vertu. Appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e de tous et sous l\u2019influence de Madame Morrible, elle vit une privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e dans le palais d\u2019Emeraude. La diff\u00e9rence entre les deux personnages est frappante : l\u2019une est rejet\u00e9e et l\u2019autre adul\u00e9e, l\u2019une a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de faire face \u00e0 la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et l\u2019autre a choisi de rester dans la na\u00efvet\u00e9. Pourtant, m\u00eame berc\u00e9e par ses illusions, Glinda reste un personnage attachant et dr\u00f4le. L\u2019\u00e9volution de la sorci\u00e8re et son affirmation dans le r\u00e9cit en font un personnage prenant et complexe. <\/span><\/p>\n

Elles ont chacune une personnalit\u00e9 bien \u00e0 elles et c\u2019est ce contraste entre les deux sorci\u00e8res et sa dynamique qui fait vibrer et avancer l\u2019intrigue. Tout au long du film, le spectateur n\u2019esp\u00e8re qu\u2019une chose, une fin heureuse pour les personnages. <\/span><\/p>\n

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses d\u00e9cors somptueux et ses morceaux magnifiques, le film plonge avec succ\u00e8s le spectateur dans l\u2019univers des deux sorci\u00e8res, port\u00e9 par l’alchimie et la prestation \u00e9poustouflante des acteurs. En particulier le duo Cynthia Erivo et Ariana Grande qui continuent d\u2019impressionner et de faire vivre le film que ce soit \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran ou en dehors, lors d’interviews ou sur des plateaux t\u00e9l\u00e9.  <\/span><\/p>\n

On peut toutefois reprocher au film son rythme effr\u00e9n\u00e9 qui ne laisse parfois pas le temps d\u2019appr\u00e9cier le moment. Les situations s’encha\u00eenent sans r\u00e9elles pauses donnant l\u2019impression au spectateur de ne jamais pouvoir respirer entre les moments forts. \u00c0 cela s’ajoutent des chansons moins m\u00e9morables que dans le premier film. <\/span><\/p>\n

Wicked For Good n\u2019a pas su recr\u00e9er la magie de son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur dans son enti\u00e8ret\u00e9, mais il reste malgr\u00e9 tout une exp\u00e9rience captivante et riche en \u00e9motions.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n
